We decided to take a trip to Chincoteague Island located in Accomack County, Virginia. The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge is a wonderfully unspoiled spot for bird watching, horseback riding, swimming and biking. We were amazed by the natural beauty of the refuge and island. The sea town was filled with the best food and even better people. Once we saw the wildlife and nature the three and half hour trip didn't seem so bad. Though it was a lot of walking, the overall experience was a great experience. And the final hours of the trip when we walked through the soft sand, the vast ocean waves crashing on the shore, was one of the best feelings in the world. We had no worries, no problems, and no conflict.
